Who are we
Hear2Listen is a regional, non-profit organisation providing a range of professional services designed to increase the emotional wellbeing of young people, supporting them in overcoming barriers that prevent living healthy and fulfilling lives. Since 2012, we have worked with over 40,000 young people across Bedfordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Birmingham.
Hear2Listen was established in 2012 having identified a deficit in mental health and support services for young people, particularly in the east of Bedfordshire. We have since found there is a high demand across Bedfordshire and have broadened our service provision to meet this need.

H2L Youth Board

The Hear2Listen Youth Board is a space where young people have a real voice and make a real difference. Open to motivated and passionate individuals, the board gives young people the chance to share their views, shape projects, and influence decisions that affect their community.
By joining, members gain valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, and decision-making while working alongside peers and professionals. It’s a great opportunity to develop skills, build confidence, and ensure that young people’s perspectives are heard at every level.
The Youth Board meets once a month to discuss and debate the current issues young people and their communities face. With input from our Youth Board members, H2L can respond to these needs by sourcing funding and creating programmes to support people within our communities.
Furthermore, the Youth Board is integral in designing programmes and shaping the future delivery of H2L’s youth services.
Youth Board members are aged 16-25 and will have the opportunity to:
> Develop skills in public speaking
> Gain knowledge on community issues and services
> Connect with a vast network of people and organisations
> Increase employability and work-readiness
> Develop friendships and a support network
> Receive knowledge drops, life hacks and training from our team
