Sensory Studio New Arrival
Our Sensory Studio: A Space for Everyone The Studio, we see you, and we hear you. We understand the importance of creating a space that fills the gaps in our community, offering a sanctuary designed to support and uplift neurodiverse individuals. However, this is a place where everyone is welcome, because sensory experiences can benefit us all.
Our sensory room features a state-of-the-art 32m² interactive floor where you can play games, engage with creative visuals, and immerse yourself in a world of interactivity. We've carefully designed the space with vibrant lights and soothing music to provide stimulating and calming sensory experiences for both visual and auditory needs.
The Sensory Studio is more than just a room—it's a large, inclusive area where connections are made, joy is shared, and possibilities are endless. Thanks to the incredible support from Central Bedfordshire, who have generously funded this initiative, we are thrilled to bring this opportunity to our local community.
Whether you're seeking a place to relax, explore, or connect, our Sensory Studio is here for you. Come and experience the difference!

Who are we
Hear2Listen is a regional, non-profit organisation providing a range of professional services designed to increase the emotional wellbeing of young people, supporting them in overcoming barriers that prevent living healthy and fulfilling lives. Since 2012, we have worked with over 40,000 young people across Bedfordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Birmingham.
Hear2Listen was established in 2012 having identified a deficit in mental health and support services for young people, particularly in the east of Bedfordshire. We have since found there is a high demand across Bedfordshire and have broadened our service provision to meet this need.

Our Mission
Our mission is to empower and inspire all young people especially those who are neurodiverse, marginalised, or at risk of exclusion to thrive emotionally, socially and physically.
We will achieve this by:
-
Creating safe, inclusive spaces where young people feel seen, heard and respected. Our brand-new Youth Hub is currently in development designed by young people for young people.
-
Championing authentic youth voice and leadership, giving young people real influence over decisions that affect them.
-
Delivering early-intervention wellbeing support, with a focus on sensory engagement, sport, creative activities, and cultural connection in practical and interactive way. Our studio is key in making this a reality.
-
Actively challenging discrimination and inequality, ensuring no young person is left behind due to race, ability, gender, faith or background. Everyone is accepted for who they are.
-
Building a diverse and representative team, working in partnership with communities to create lasting and positive change.
Through this work, we enable young people to build confidence, resilience and ambition shaping a fairer, more inclusive society where everyone belongs.
Our Vision
A society where every young person’s voice is heard, valued and leads positive change, where authentic youth leadership shapes communities, services and futures. We envision a world where no one is left out or held back because of their identity, ability or background; where discrimination has no place, and where diversity is celebrated at every level this is mirrored within our own staff team, partnerships and leadership. Together, we build inclusive spaces through sport, culture and creativity, enabling all young people to thrive, belong and succeed.
Our Values
Youth Voice & Leadership: We believe young people should be at the heart of everything we do. Not just participants, but leaders and co-creators of change. We actively create spaces where their ideas, experiences and solutions guide our work. Our Youth Board remain and continue to be at the heart of the all we do.
Equality, Equity & Anti-Discrimination: We are committed to building a society where everyone belongs, tackling inequality, dismantling and challenging discrimination in all its forms. We work to ensure fairness, opportunity and representation for all, regardless of race, gender, ability, faith, identity or background.
Diversity & Inclusion in Action: We celebrate differences: within our staff team, in our partnerships, and across the communities we serve. We work to create inclusive environments where people from all walks of life feel valued, respected and can thrive.
Compassion & Integrity: We treat every person with kindness, honesty and respect. We listen deeply and act with consistency, transparency and fairness. We do this by doing what’s right, not what’s easy.
Empowerment Through Sport, Culture & Creativity: We believe in the power of sport, culture, and creative expression to break down barriers, build confidence, and inspire positive change, ensuring no one is left behind.
Collaboration & Community: We work in true partnership with young people, families, organisations and communities because lasting change happens together, not in isolation or working in silos.
AntiDiscrimination: We are committed to proactive allyship, challenging prejudice in all its forms and actively educating our community to foster genuine belonging. We believe passionately silence is agreement so we will always actively challenge prejudice in any form.
